Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge/Port Allen

We were driving in the middle of the night, and around 1:30 am I called to see if there was an available room since most of the nice hotels were sold out within an hour's driving distance. A soft spoken lady, (I later learned was Maxine,) said she would hold the room for us. We got there around three and we were checked in immediately under Maxine's care. The room was very clean, the a/c was very quiet, and it blew ice cold! The shower had great pressure and was hot. We were traveling for the very first time with our two year old and she was able to sleep comfortably. The bed was perfectly comfortable, and I have major back issues. In the morning, we went down for breakfast with 20 minutes to spare, and a lady named Angela, who was taking care of the breakfast, was slowly shutting things down, but poured a little cup of waffle batter for us before she removed it, and actually put it in to cook after a different person removed theirs. I have NEVER actually cooked a perfect waffle at a hotel, and she did great! She was incredibly efficient, friendly, and was happy to see our daughter and even give her a high five. Upon check out, we had Erica, who was full of smiles and wished us safe travels. Since we are going to Florida, and I forgot my razor, I asked if she had a spare, and she did! Thank you, Hampton Inn Baton Rouge for giving us a wonderful experience! On our way back, if we can, we will come back and see you again. Thank you!

We were on a very stressful and urgent drive toward D.C. and had to pull over around 2 a.m. in Port Allen. At that point we were completely exhausted and on edge – and then came the absolute highlight of the night: the gentleman at the front desk (I think his name was Dan?) was simply fantastic. Friendly, calm, and welcoming – exactly what we needed in that moment. Within minutes, he managed to make us feel at ease. This was actually my very first stay at a Hampton Inn, and I can honestly recommend it. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was included in the price – great value all around. We were so impressed that we booked Hampton Inns again for the next two nights of our trip to D.C. Huge thanks again to Dan at the reception – you turned a stressful night into a genuinely positive experience.

The breakfast had a wide variety of options and the location was great, right off the interstate. The rooms were pretty dated, however. Everything in the room showed signs of wear, and the AC made a loud noise throughout the night. The room was not very dirty. Great hotel for the price.

My sister and I stayed here for the night on our way to Texas. The room was good, just needed a little TLC. We got woken up at 6am with the fire alarm going off. Tenika checked us in the day before and checked us out this morning. She was very apologetic about the fire alarm in which I told her, she didn't need to be. Thank u Tenika for being so pleasant and friendly.

Seems like a good average Hampton inn and not crowded the time I stayed

The hotel is clean, but the bed was a little uncomfortable. Probably time to update the mattress. I didn't eat any breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

Everything was in top order at this location. I must say that I would stay here again for the comfortability, hospitality, cleanliness and on time service for whatever we needed which was not much. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Location was good, not great but good. I would recommend this place anytime. Hostess were very friendly and professional. Thank you for a great stay!

First time at this location. This trip I actually had my wife with me to help on a job I was doing in Port Allen. The room was large, quiet but very bright as it did not have true blackout curtains. Everything worked as it should and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was better than normal as several of the days they had the omelets instead of just instant eggs. The location was easy to get to it has a few places to eat close by if you like fast food. I would definitely go back to this hotel again.
